STATEMENT
Lucia Segura is an abstract artist who creates colourful paintings mixed with organic patterns in a minimal and graphic style.
Her work focuses on abstract representations of our interior world, translating something intangible into something physical and visual.
Through her paintings, the artist explores topics surrounding individuality and identity, focusing on uplifting emotions like hope, daydreaming, and optimism. She also looks into concepts of self-worth and belonging, analyzing our value in society.
Lucia was born in Barcelona (Spain), and lived from 2019 to 2023 in London (United Kingdom). She is back now in Barcelona, and creates every day in her studio.
